Dispatch — Melbourne, FL · Mon–Sat 7am to 7pm Call (321) 425-0198
PA AIR SHOW, LLC Event Ground Crew · Brevard County

Somebody has to put the cones down at 5am.

We are the ground crew. Parking and inbound traffic, gates and will-call lines, vendor row logistics, shuttle carts and teardown — for outdoor events in Melbourne, Palm Bay, Viera, Cocoa and Titusville. Your event director sleeps a little better; we take the 5am call.

What we run

Everything landside, from first cone to last trash bag.

Parking & inbound traffic

Lot layout the night before, flaggers on the road at first light, overflow field called wet or dry, and a plan for the moment two inbound lanes have to pinch into one without stacking cars back onto the highway.

Gates & will-call

Line management, wristband and pass checks beside the organizer's own staff, re-entry lanes, and someone who can untangle a green VIP band that got handed out on the general-admission side without stopping the line.

Vendor row

Chalking and numbering rows on the Friday, walking the generator truck to Bay 22 at 6am, keeping the fire lane open when the food trucks want to pop awnings into it, and load-out order so nobody boxes in the ice supplier.

Shuttle & cart operations

Cart routes, driver rotation, and a spare battery bag — because six hours of shuttle runs in a Florida August will kill a cart long before it kills a radio.

Teardown & recovery

Cone and barricade recovery, signage pull, trash sweep and a walked punch list with the venue before we leave. Four-hour teardown-only calls are a normal booking for us.

Ground lead only

If you already have volunteers and just need one experienced person on the radio running channel 1, we staff that alone. It is often the cheapest fix for an event that went sideways last year.

About the name

PA stands for Parking and Access.

Those two things were the only work anybody would hire us for in the beginning: put the cones down, check the wristbands. The first crews I ever staffed were at air shows on the Space Coast, and when the LLC was filed in January 2024 it got named after the work being done that week. The name stuck.

It has cost me nothing but explanations since. I keep it because changing an entity name in Florida means new filings, a new bank card, new invoices, and a couple hundred phone contacts that already say PA Air Show — and none of that buys my crews anything.

We are not an aviation company. We do not operate, service, sell or charter aircraft. We do not produce or promote air shows. At a fly-in, the flight line and the ramp are FAA-controlled ground that belongs to airport operations and the show's air boss — that side of the fence is not ours and our crews do not cross it. We hold no FAA certificate because nothing we do requires one.

We do not sell tickets. Admission is sold by the organizer on their own platform. Our staff scan or verify at the gate standing beside their staff, next to their cash box. We have no ticketing, resale or box-office role of any kind.

Questions we actually get

Straight answers, including the awkward one.

This web address used to show a health-supplement page. What happened?

It did, and it is fair to ask. In 2026 I hired an outside marketing company to run traffic for us and handed over the DNS login for this domain without thinking hard about what that meant. They pointed it at a supplement promotion that had nothing to do with this company — a footer credited to a firm I have never had any relationship with. That was not my site and it never represented my business. The arrangement is over, the credentials were rotated, and this domain now serves the page you are reading, written by me. If you saw the old page, the only thing it had in common with PA AIR SHOW, LLC was the address bar.

Are you insured, and do your people work under it?

Yes. Every person we put on a site works under our general liability coverage, and we send the certificate of insurance to the venue or organizer before the call — most county parks and municipal facilities require it on file before they will issue a permit.

Do you provide security guards?

No, and we will tell you that up front. Licensed security is a separate trade in Florida and we do not hold that license or claim it. We do parking, access lines, wristband verification, logistics and labor. If your event needs licensed officers, hire them separately — we work alongside them all the time.

How far ahead do you need to be booked?

Two to three weeks is comfortable for a weekend build. Small single-day calls we can often fill in 72 hours if the crew is not already committed. Teardown-only calls are the easiest thing to add late.

Do you travel outside Brevard County?

Rarely. Crews drive their own trucks to a 5am call, so anything past the Volusia line or west toward Orlando usually gets handed to a company we trust in Kissimmee. If you are just over the line, call and ask — sometimes it works.

Contact

Tell us the gate time and the head count.

Give us the date, the venue, your expected attendance and what time the gates open. We will come back with a crew size and a number — usually the same day, always before the next morning.
